Built by recruiters, for fair hiring
The assessment layer we wished we had, and the training that should have come with it.
We built HRTool.ai because we were recruiters hitting the same wall: a resume and a good conversation tell you who looks right on paper, not who can actually do the job. The people who interview best are not reliably the people who do the work best, and everybody in hiring knows it.
So we built the thing we wanted — a way to see what someone can actually do, before the offer rather than after it.
Our mission
Fair, evidence-based hiring: objective skills, cognitive and personality assessments, plus employee surveys — and the training and recognition that follow, so the people you hire well have a reason to stay.
Why assessments
Structured assessments are among the most predictive, most equitable signals in hiring. Done well, they reduce bias, surface ability that resumes miss, and give every candidate a fair shot to show what they can do.
Two products, one problem
Hiring the right person is half the job. The other half is what happens next — and most companies solve them with two unrelated systems that never speak to each other.
So HRTool.ai is two products on one platform. Assessments & Hiring tells you who can do the work. Learn & Engage trains them once they arrive and gives them a reason to stay: courses, live classes, onboarding, and the community and recognition that make training get used rather than filed.
Take either on its own. Take both and they share one login, one people directory and one bill — the person you assessed on Monday is the person you onboard on Tuesday, without re-entering anything.
It fits where you already work
HRTool.ai embeds into the applicant tracking system you already use, so results land where hiring decisions are actually made — no copy-paste, no second place to check. There is a full REST API and an MCP server for anything we have not thought of.
Our commitment to fairness
Our AI analyzes job-relevant content only. It does not score appearance, accent, demeanor, or any protected characteristic, and it never makes the hiring decision — a human always does. We build with Title VII, NYC Local Law 144, Illinois AIVIRA and similar frameworks in mind.
